Instrument-Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), also known as ‘muscle scraping’, evolved from the Chinese method of Gua Sha. It uses specialized tools to breakdown fascial restrictions and scar tissue, encouraging improved tissue glide, increased joint mobility, and a decrease in pain. Effective for a variety of issues that cause myofascial pain and restriction (e.g., post-surgical or traumatic scars, tennis/golfer’s elbow, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, etc…) *price is per area of complaint
